From Detroit Metro Airport, Detroit, and Windsor (Canada):
- take I-94 west (towards Chicago)
- stay on I-94 for approximately 20 miles (measured from Metro Airport)
- take US 23 north (towards Ann Arbor and Flint)
- exit US 23 at Plymouth Road (Exit 41)
- turn left on Plymouth Road (towards Ann Arbor), continue below (From US 23 Exit 41)
From I-96 or from M-14:
- take US 23 south (towards Toledo)
- exit US 23 at Plymouth Road (Exit 41)
- turn right on Plymouth Road (towards Ann Arbor)
From US 23 Exit 41 (Plymouth Road):
- go west on Plymouth Road (towards Ann Arbor) for approximately 1 mile
- pass intersection with Green Road
- at next traffic light turn left into Huron Parkway
- take first right (Hubbard Road)
- at the stop sign: continue straight on Hayward Road.
- pass all parking lots; before first building, turn left into Draper Road
- the Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering (NA&ME) Building is the first building on the left of Draper Road
Parking:
“Metered visitor parking” (NC26) is available on the hill, left of Hayward just before you reach Draper. The “Staff Paid Parking Only” (NC22) lot on Draper in front of the NA&ME Building requires a parking permit. You can obtain a visitor’s permit from our secretary in Room #222.
